| Personal History | Deanna comes from a noble house of Betazed, under the ancient caste system she is 3rd in line to the throne. While that matters little in the grand scheme, she was nonetheless raised with the traditions such a station holds. To allow herself the ability to get out from that partially, she took her studies and love of things quite seriously, and eventually decided to join StarFleet. After graduation she was assigned to the USS Jupiter where she caught the attention of the XO, Shran dh'Klar. He befriended her and became a mentor to her, teaching her a great many things. She served with distinction during her time there and throughout the Dominion War, including saving her mentor during an attack in which the Jem'Hadar boarded the ship. She followed Shran to the Washington and then again when he went to work for Admiral Carroll. While her time serving the admiral was noteworthy, much is deemed classified. She was sent with Shran to the Washington once more by order of the admiral in 2378 and remains there. |
