Welcome to the USS Washington-E!
Welcome to the USS Washington-E, a post-Dominion War sim. The year is 2386. The Dominion War has been over for several years, but its aftermath is still unfolding. The Federation and the Romulans are the only two major powers, and only the Federation is stable, to a point. The Klingon Empire is still rebuilding and addressing its many wounds from the war, Cardassia is in shambles and occupied, and the Romulans are in far worse shape because of their own misdeeds than they would have outsiders believe. The Federation is now the lone superpower in the Quadrant, a role it neither wants nor enjoys. Exploration has returned, but the dangers of space have never been more pronounced. Welcome to the USS Washington, where danger and adventure lurk around every corner.

The first half of the year ended with us wrapping one mission and starting a new one, and it seems that everyone has taken to the new mission and writing is prolific again. While July is a special month for the ship and the fleet as a whole, we can't ignore what happened in June. I thank everyone for great work and look forward to seeing what else we'll see happen in this mission that everyone seems to be getting in on. Below are the awards for June. As always, congrats to all our winners, and good luck as you…

Posted on Mon Jun 2nd, 2025 @ 12:32pm by Captain Shran dh'Klar in General News
It always seems to come around quickly, and so it is that another month has passed into the history books. May was another good month as a whole, with lots of posting, the end of one mission, the start of another, and at the end of the month, the welcoming of two new players. As we move into the summer, historically the best time for simming, things look like they are moving full speed ahead for the crew of the Washington.
Below you will find the monthly awards. I wish to congratulate all our winners. It was a great month,…

Mission: Wounds From the Mirror
Posted on Thu Jul 31st, 2025 @ 7:03am by Lieutenant Commander Callie Raven-Grayson & Commander Jonathan Grayson
— Previously —
Jon nodded, enjoying their playful banter. "Indeed it is so. He tried to arch his eyebrow and failed miserably. "Is that a fact?" He teased as he kissed her.
“Ohh it is…” Callie grinned. “Do you remember….”
— Years Ago, Starfleet Academy —
A silly prank had become a problem, what was supposed to be a short few minutes stuck in the turbolift had turned into a whole lot longer.
“How much longer?” Callie paced back and forth. “I don’t like being stuck in here! It feels so…enclosed!”
Jon sat on the floor watching Callie pace back…

Mission: Wounds From the Mirror
Posted on Thu Jul 24th, 2025 @ 9:52am by Lieutenant Commander Callie Raven-Grayson & Commander Jonathan Grayson
The nightmare was over, at least to a point. Callie was reunited with her children, her protective instincts even stronger than before. Seeing Harry, Shona and Steven down to sleep she sat in low light waiting for Jon for return home. They’d barely had time to talk, but Jon had seemed different to her more distant than usual. She just hoped he wouldn’t hate her when he learned the truth of what had occurred between mirror Jon and herself.
Jon came back from the bridge. He was enormously relieved and grateful to have her back and that she was unharmed…

Mission: Wounds From the Mirror
Posted on Tue Jul 22nd, 2025 @ 5:32pm by Captain Shran dh'Klar & Lieutenant Commander Shoniara T’ghann-Travis MD & Lieutenant Inara Senn & Lieutenant Seth Travis
Inara and Shon materialized in sickbay. Viviana came over to them with her medical tricorder out. "Dios mio, what happened to you two?" she questioned.
"We have both been experimented upon." Inara noted. "They screwed with her logic center and sent her emotions skyrocketing, and after that was done, they made her lobotomize me and inject some wonderful cocktail in my brain. I believe is was 12cc's of Omidazone, 22cc's of propamazine, 2cc's diaphramine, 8ccs rifmapazil. If I wasn't Betazoid, I'd be dead, and in fact I almost died, until she made me live with this with some kinda stimulant,…

Mission: Wounds From the Mirror
Posted on Tue Jul 22nd, 2025 @ 11:10am by Lieutenant Commander Callie Raven-Grayson & Commander Jonathan Grayson
Callie had been unceremoniously dumped off aboard her mirror counterpart’s ship, left bound and gagged she hadn’t even been given the option of being untied to have a drink or food. She couldn’t help but wonder what terrible things her own counterpart was doing aboard the Washington.
Her mind filled with horrors, what about her children? Would they even know the other Callie wasn't her? What about Jon? Would he be fooled, or did they plan to replace him too?”
Tears ran down her cheeks before she got annoyed with herself for being so weak, letting her fears get the…

Mission: Wounds From the Mirror
Posted on Tue Jul 22nd, 2025 @ 9:17am by Lieutenant Commander Callie Raven-Grayson & Commander Jonathan Grayson
With Callie out of the way mirror Callie had made her way to the Grayson quarters, she needed to familiarise herself with her counterpart to get her part right for the upcoming trap she was about to lay. For starters she needed to soften her look, changing out of her clothing into something more aesthetically pleasing. Letting her hair down she brushed it so it mirrored Callie’s more usual look.
Making arrangements for Callie & Jon’s children to be looked after she set her trap. In a little while Jon would be home and she would be waiting.
Jon entered…

Captain's Log
Supplemental
We have once again encountered the mythic Earth deities, this time the Celtic deities alone. We were studying a stellar core fragment when we discovered a planet in its path. As we approached the planet, we learned that it was inhabited, but more remarkably, the core fragment wasn't causing the planet any issues which was strange.
The planet was inhabited by humans. These humans were originally from Earth, Ireland specifically, and their ancestors had been brought to the planet by the Celtic gods roughly a millennia ago. Upon an away team beaming down which I joined, we…

Having arrived at my new home abord the USS Washington, I find it to be both different and yet the same as my time spent on Rock at the Academy.
My first few moments here were met with the same comments as my first few moments on Rock. Though at that time there were four other of my fellows with me as we began our new life in the Academy Consortium. And the universal translators given us by the humans did not successfully translate the negativity of the words the humans had for us. Now, after we have had time…
