Welcome to the USS Washington-E!

Welcome to the USS Washington-E, a post-Dominion War sim. The year is 2386. The Dominion War has been over for several years, but its aftermath is still unfolding. The Federation and the Romulans are the only two major powers, and only the Federation is stable, to a point. The Klingon Empire is still rebuilding and addressing its many wounds from the war, Cardassia is in shambles and occupied, and the Romulans are in far worse shape because of their own misdeeds than they would have outsiders believe. The Federation is now the lone superpower in the Quadrant, a role it neither wants nor enjoys. Exploration has returned, but the dangers of space have never been more pronounced. Welcome to the USS Washington, where danger and adventure lurk around every corner.

The first half of the year ended with us wrapping one mission and starting a new one, and it seems that everyone has taken to the new mission and writing is prolific again. While July is a special month for the ship and the fleet as a whole, we can't ignore what happened in June. I thank everyone for great work and look forward to seeing what else we'll see happen in this mission that everyone seems to be getting in on. Below are the awards for June. As always, congrats to all our winners, and good luck as you…

Mission: Holding Pattern Hijinks
Posted on Wed Sep 17th, 2025 @ 9:17am by Ensign Kasm & Commander Samantha Howard & Lieutenant Imik S'Niohun

::ON::

Kasm had stood like a statue in sickbay, guarding the door. All around him had been a whirlwind of activity, he will probably never get used to people just appearing out of nowhere as if by magic.

And time passed.

As the emergency drew to a close he continued to follow the last instructions he was given, to protect the ships sickbay from invaders.

Considering that he had stood like a statue for hours, leading into days, and the sickbay returned to some semblance of normal. The injured and dying having either been discharged or zipped into body bags,…

Mission: Holding Pattern Hijinks
Posted on Tue Sep 16th, 2025 @ 9:18pm by Captain Shran dh'Klar & Lieutenant Commander Callie Raven-Grayson & Lieutenant JG Kate Kono & Lieutenant JG Benjamin "Ben" Dalton & Lieutenant Viviana Del Rio

Ben has another PT appointment with Viviana and this time he remembered to message Counselor Raven-Grayson. He also told Kate which was was easier to do as they shared the same bed.

He was in Sickbay with Viviana wondering what exercises she was going to have him do. He looked around but didn't see the counselor nor did he he Kate. He wasn't disappointed just surprised as he thought both would be here but then he reminded himself that his appointment hadn't actually started yet. So both Kate and the Counselor could still arrive and not miss anything.

"I asked…

Mission: Holding Pattern Hijinks
Posted on Tue Sep 16th, 2025 @ 11:14am by Lieutenant Commander Callie Raven-Grayson & Commander Jonathan Grayson

Jon was torn, he wanted to go and see her but was afraid of what is appearance might set off and he didn't want to do anything that would set her getting better back. The she in question was Dr. Samantha Howard and she was one of his closest friends. The reason for his hesitating in going to see her was simple. His mirror had tortured and humiliated Sam, tried to break her in both mind and body. He sighed, he wanted to go and see her, to offer his support and friendship but not if it set Sam back.…

Mission: Holding Pattern Hijinks
Posted on Tue Sep 16th, 2025 @ 11:13am by Lieutenant Commander Callie Raven-Grayson & Commander Jonathan Grayson

Jon had settled back into a normal routine and Callie had as well. They were pleasant and social, considerate and kind with each other yet something was off and he knew exactly what it was. The fact they had both been tricked by their Mirror doubles. For himself, he felt terribly guilty and he was sure Callie felt the same way. He also knew they they couldn't keep this up. Something needed to change, get the spark and spontaneity back.

He had come home early had taken Harry and the twins to Wyatt and Vienna. Once he returned back to…

Mission: Holding Pattern Hijinks
Posted on Mon Sep 15th, 2025 @ 8:49pm by Captain Shran dh'Klar & Lieutenant Commander Callie Raven-Grayson & Lieutenant Ilia Mooi

Lt Ilia made her way down the corridor towards the office of Counselor Raven-Grayson. She had learned that her immediate superior was the spouse of the XO, which made this an interesting meeting in itself. She never knew what to expect when meeting with superior officers on a starship. Humans were the most difficult to deal with, because of their immaturity. Reaching the door, she hit the chime and waited for an answer.

Callie was passing the door at the time, pausing she opened it greeting the new person on the other side. “Hi there” she offered a polite smile.…

» Another Mythic Encounter

Posted on Thu Jun 12th, 2025 @ 10:12pm by Captain Shran dh'Klar

Captain's Log
Supplemental

We have once again encountered the mythic Earth deities, this time the Celtic deities alone. We were studying a stellar core fragment when we discovered a planet in its path. As we approached the planet, we learned that it was inhabited, but more remarkably, the core fragment wasn't causing the planet any issues which was strange.

The planet was inhabited by humans. These humans were originally from Earth, Ireland specifically, and their ancestors had been brought to the planet by the Celtic gods roughly a millennia ago. Upon an away team beaming down which I joined, we…

» New Consortium

Posted on Sun Jun 8th, 2025 @ 5:55pm by Ensign Kasm

Having arrived at my new home abord the USS Washington, I find it to be both different and yet the same as my time spent on Rock at the Academy.

My first few moments here were met with the same comments as my first few moments on Rock. Though at that time there were four other of my fellows with me as we began our new life in the Academy Consortium. And the universal translators given us by the humans did not successfully translate the negativity of the words the humans had for us. Now, after we have had time…
