Welcome to the USS Washington-E, a post-Dominion War sim. The year is 2386. The Dominion War has been over for several years, but its aftermath is still unfolding. The Federation and the Romulans are the only two major powers, and only the Federation is stable, to a point. The Klingon Empire is still rebuilding and addressing its many wounds from the war, Cardassia is in shambles and occupied, and the Romulans are in far worse shape because of their own misdeeds than they would have outsiders believe. The Federation is now the lone superpower in the Quadrant, a role it neither wants nor enjoys. Exploration has returned, but the dangers of space have never been more pronounced. Welcome to the USS Washington, where danger and adventure lurk around every corner.

I was away for a couple weeks, but July was a crazy month for us as a group. It would seem that this mission has really inspired everyone. The first half of the year ended with us wrapping one mission and starting a new one, and it seems that everyone has taken to the new mission and writing is prolific again. Ben has another PT appointment with Viviana and this time he remembered to message Counselor Raven-Grayson. He also told Kate which was was easier to do as they shared the same bed.
He was in Sickbay with Viviana wondering what exercises she was going to have him do. He looked around but didn't see the counselor nor did he he Kate. He wasn't disappointed just surprised as he thought both would be here but then he reminded himself that his appointment hadn't actually started yet. She had learned that her immediate superior was the spouse of the XO, which made this an interesting meeting in itself. We have once again encountered the mythic Earth deities, this time the Celtic deities alone. We were studying a stellar core fragment when we discovered a planet in its path. As we approached the planet, we learned that it was inhabited, but more remarkably, the core fragment wasn't causing the planet any issues which was strange.
