Welcome to the USS Washington-E, a post-Dominion War sim. The year is 2386. The Dominion War has been over for several years, but its aftermath is still unfolding. The Federation and the Romulans are the only two major powers, and only the Federation is stable, to a point. The Klingon Empire is still rebuilding and addressing its many wounds from the war, Cardassia is in shambles and occupied, and the Romulans are in far worse shape because of their own misdeeds than they would have outsiders believe. The Federation is now the lone superpower in the Quadrant, a role it neither wants nor enjoys. Exploration has returned, but the dangers of space have never been more pronounced. Welcome to the USS Washington, where danger and adventure lurk around every corner.

Well, another month in the books. April was a posting bonanza for virtually everyone, which made it hard to determine who was the most deserving of many awards. March was a great month for us. Everyone participated with at least three posts each, and we were really getting into the meat of things as we completed one mission and got into another. As we really start to get into this new mission, I feel like it will be full of some great writing as we delve into some darker material.

Well, as usual, February came and went quickly. It was a nice, albeit a bit slow month for us. No solo posts (except one by me, which doesn't count), so no award there. Deanna exited the turbolift and made her way into the science lab. She found Inara looking over the sensor data that was coming in from the stellar core fragment. "Anything new of interest?" she questioned.
"Only that it's thirty times the mass of Jupiter, and it eats stars for breakfast," Inara mentioned. "It's already pulling on the outer system gas giant. It's attracted to the sun, but the Class M planet in the system is just in the way."
