Welcome to the USS Washington-E, a post-Dominion War sim. The year is 2386. The Dominion War has been over for several years, but its aftermath is still unfolding. The Federation and the Romulans are the only two major powers, and only the Federation is stable, to a point. The Klingon Empire is still rebuilding and addressing its many wounds from the war, Cardassia is in shambles and occupied, and the Romulans are in far worse shape because of their own misdeeds than they would have outsiders believe. The Federation is now the lone superpower in the Quadrant, a role it neither wants nor enjoys. Exploration has returned, but the dangers of space have never been more pronounced. Welcome to the USS Washington, where danger and adventure lurk around every corner.

Trick or treat! Well, that was a few days ago, but yes, October is over, so time to look at the month and discuss what we all did. Honestly, it was a solid month. The current mission has a fun and interesting main story, and the undercurrent subplot has been equally as interesting, as they seem to be naturally sewing themselves together. Since the meeting on Risa, AJ had beamed back aboard the Washington, located his quarters, and donned his uniform. He spent the interim researching Lieutenant Commander Tapping, making a bit of headway—until his console beeped. He’d learned that Kevin had been in his quarters that morning when Kate found the bikini top in the sand. Putting two and two together, AJ’s suspicions shifted toward Kevin. He still couldn’t explain why the bra was there, but Tapping was an intelligence operative like they were—and Kevin was the odd variable.

Janelle Barett sat atop a wooden packing crate in the cramped little space of the shuttle that was delivering her, along with supplies, to Risa where the USS Washington was berthed.

I have now been on board for several days, still I have not seen nor reported to the Sinkahue or Grayson. After several weeks and a few interesting encounters, we have returned to Federation space. I managed to convince StarFleet to give us a few days at Risa. Of course, StarFleet didn't just grant us a simple leave. They tasked us with providing the normal maintenance work to the weather control grid on Risa, which my engineers are now working on. Lt O'Connor has voiced a complaint that StarFleet needs to base an engineering team here fulltime to better maintain the grid, which he indicates has been severely neglected.

We have once again encountered the mythic Earth deities, this time the Celtic deities alone. We were studying a stellar core fragment when we discovered a planet in its path. As we approached the planet, we learned that it was inhabited, but more remarkably, the core fragment wasn't causing the planet any issues which was strange.
