Personality & Traits

General Overview Estella can seem a bit reserved, to some even prudish or cold due to the distance she tends to try to put between herself and others. She can be quite serious about her work as she is not a stranger to loss. So the Counselor may be slow or hesitant to form personal relationships. When she does though, she is fiercely loyal.
Strengths & Weaknesses Estella can be honest, sometimes to a fault. Otherwise, her hesitation to let anyone close to her can sometimes act as a bit of a short coming as she tends to try to remain rather professional. The recent loss of her father and twin brother have not helped with that. She is also quite strong in her religious and moral values. Estella is a fighter and will stand up for what she believes is just.
Ambitions Estella's only ambition is in maintaining the emotional and mental well-being of others. She takes great pride in her service.
Hobbies & Interests Reading, writing, music, and hiking.

Personal History Estella was born in Washington, in the heart of the U.S. political world. Her mother a devout Catholic, and her father a diplomat, she grew up in a household build on high standards and followed in her father's and twin brother, Levi's footsteps. Whereas her older brother, Michael, took to the life of a Catholic priest.

Fresh out of high school, she applied for Starfleet and was accepted, much to her mother's disappointment.

She excelled in psychology. Even took a bit of a liking to anything resembling Diplomacy and Tactics. As she abhors violence and tries to use it as a last result. Not that, that will keep her from doing what is necessary, should the situation arise.

She met Jonathan Greyson during her service on board the USS Independence. For a time, they dated. Afraid of commitment, Estella broke it off and sought to transfer off of the Independence and joined her father on a Diplomatic mission alongside her twin brother.

When both were killed during hostile negotiations with Romulans, and after some intense counseling sessions, Estella has now found herself serving on board the Washington. Though she still blames herself for their deaths, as they died saving her, she has come back into service more resolved and dedicated to her station than ever before.
