Personal History

Born on Earth, North American continent, in Mesa, Arizona, she spent her early years experiencing the many varied environments Earth had to offer. She took many trips to various locales, and even had the opportunity to experience several alien worlds in her youth, notably Vulcan, Andoria, and Risa. She developed an interest in engineering while learning about the various environmental conditions that ships could have and simulate. She was particularly fascinated with environments that were unsuitable for humanoid life, such as with the Tholians. At the Academy she was an excellent student, particularly in engineering skills and the sciences. Upon graduation she spent 6 months aboard the USS Nova doing planetary surveys before being transferred to the USS Washington.
