"Begin recording.

My time on this vessel maybe soon come to an end, as both myself and the Sinkahue are now at odds with one another. A simple matter on which neither of us are prepared to alter our stance, at one time I would have never challenged in this fashion but now I feel I must. I will not go into detail in this log as my thoughts are troubled, and things must take their course.

But I am resolved to see this concern of mine through to the end, what ever that end has to offer. But my mind is sure of one thing, if this is to be the end of my Federation and Starfleet time then I will travel no more in this universe. I will not stay where my thoughts are altered and my very being is subject to another's will, strange as it may seem I have free will and I have learned to use it.

The sister of my mother once said I would know the time to leave this life and return home, this feels like the time and I yearn for home and safety to be myself once again. I stand ready for what ever judgement is to be handed down, how strange that a mythical beast should be the harbinger of my demise.
