I have now been on board for several days, still I have not seen nor reported to the Sinkahue or Grayson. My mind is much conflicted with these new orders from my High Command, just how they expect me to continue with my duties while remaining apart from all Federation personnel is something I at this time fail to see as possible.

It is almost as if they want this collaboration to collapse into failure, maybe the section of our Council which is pushing for us to end all contact with the Federation has finally turned the High Command. Our contact with both Tholian and Romulan is another thing which worries me, and there is talk of contacting the Founders. Those who destroyed us are now being sought as allies, and our friends are being abandoned.

I fear for my people, and I fear for myself. I have made many friends here and have no wish to abandon them or my duties on this vessel, but if ordered I must do so and return to Ekotsy Prime.
