Mission: Shore Leave on Risa
Location: Risa

Dr Samantha Howard leaned back in her chair, regarding the pile of reports on her desk with a weary but content sigh. She was done, mentally and physically. She rose, sending the Yeoman a note that the reports were ready, and closed her computer terminal. Sickbay was deserted, a skeleton staff on call for anything that may transpire but most of them were getting some well needed rest on the planet below.

Sam headed bsck to her quarters, picking a small bag with some clothes before heading to the transporter room. Thankfully most had already beamed down, and Sam handed over the coordinates for a small venue in the southern continent. It was quiet, secluded, and boasted excellent facilities. Sam woukd have been content with a bed, a coffee machine, and 24 hours of uninterrupted sleep. She still found sleeping troublesome, the nightmares of missions gone wrong haunting her dreams. Shaking her head she stepped on to the platform and waited to have her atoms send via a matter stream to the planet below.

It was raining when she materialised, the humidity of the afternoom showrr a contrast to the dry heat of earlier in the day.

"Ahh you must be Commander Howard. Please let me see to your bag. A welcome drink to refresh you?" The tanned Risan stepped forward as she stepped off the pad. She accepted the drink and handed over her bag.

"You are booked into one of our premium suites overlooking the beach. Your rooms are ready, if you will follow me?" The Risan continued, his muscles glisening in the humidity. Sam forced herself to look at the surroundings and not at the prime male example in front of her.

"You suite Commander, enjoy your stay, if you need 'anything', ask for me, Franke, and I will attend to all of your needs" he nodded with a grin and set her bags down, sending her a wink and a bow before leaving.

Ahh yes, she was going to enjoy Risa.
