We have been informed by Capt Kang of the Akira that the casualties on Casperia Prime are thankfully low. At this time they have located a total of 8 dead, mostly members at the medical conference, and several dozen injured. The main resort was heavily damaged as were multiple StarFleet facilities. The damage to the facilities is acceptable, the loss of life is not. The Breen seem to have caught us off guard once again. It is reminiscent of when the Breen attacked Earth as an entry into the Dominion War. I hope we are not about to relive that again.

My away team has returned and is in the process of translating and sifting through the information they gathered from the Breen ship. Ayana and Dex are working on the apparent infiltration of our ship of Breen agents. I plan to take a closer look into the nearby class-P planet that the Breen seem to have used as a camouflage for their ambush. I have a feeling the planet holds more secrets than just a few hidden Breen ships.
