Supplemental

We are free from the malfunction in the holodeck that injured several members of my crew and killed one. I have reviewed the analysis that Ops and Engineering have provided, and while the malfunctions have been corrected, the reason why or how everything happened remains.

After much deliberation on my part I have come to the conclusion that an outside force at least in part is responsible. Considering our recent dealings, I believe the outside force to be Hela. Lt. Shoniara made a devil's bargain with Hela and payment may be due. Hela also may have a score to settle with me for the death of Loki. I have been considering these facts and have spoken to Shon about this, and her thoughts brought me little comfort.

I feel we must work to out think Hela if we are to defeat her in the future. I will need to speak to at least some of my crew about this situation, starting with Jon. He won't want to hear about this but he needs to, if only to ready him for the situation.
