Captain's Log

We have somehow been transported back in time, to the year 2023. We have taken a hiding posture in the asteroid belt, using Ceres as a cover as we determine what seems to have happened. We do know at this point that certain events in Earth's history appear to be in the process of happening several years earlier than they are meant to, and both of these are space missions, specifically the Artemis-2 mission and the Red Dragon mission. I'm unsure why these missions seems to have been moved forward in the time line or what caused it or what the impact would be if we can't fix it.

I have looked back into my Earth history for this period of time. We are only a few months from the Bell Riots. World War 3 is only three years away, at least it was. Humans have always been a passionate race. It is probably why my people get along with them so well. But these humans are primitive compared to the modern race, violent with access to powerful deadly weapons. They are currently living in a tribal manner with nation states that are conflict, and factions have formed already. We have to figure out what is going on before anything else happens, and we have to avoid becoming part of the history, if that is even possible. Ben Sisko during the war once told me about his temporal mishaps in which he got transported to this time, to the Bell Riots actually. It was a difficult situation for him and his officers, and they ultimately did get tangled up in the history despite their best efforts. I'm hoping that isn't the case here.
