Shadow Family

This will be my first log aboard the U.S.S Washington, and it's not a Good Start. Right before reporting to my Gamma Shift Post received a Message from another Possible family shadow, have I replied? No, I have not, Why? Only because I have been on my own since the beginning and till I met Kate, And this is the 10th Message from My so-called Shadow Family. Am I scared to acknowledge my Lonesome troubling passed before I met Kate? Yes I am, I buried that past for a Reason AND it needs to stay that way....Now enough of that. On My First Shift, Me Only being a First time Ensign was put in command till a Senior officer relieved me, if command, Yea not so big of a deal But it was my first shift here! Nah What ever, Right after this log I will be reporting to the Ships Cosuler for advice on how to handle this Shadow family. Will I reopen old wounds and suffer even more than I need or will I keep my Past Buried forever?
