Mission:
Shore Leave on Risa
Location: Risa--- Hotel
Timeline: Current
The ride in the hotel elevator was a lesson in patience for Kate and Ben as it seemed to stop at every floor until it stopped and the doors opened on their floor and then it was a mad dash to their door, unlocking the door took three attempts, they were in such a hurry and finally getting in closing the door and proceeding to tear each other's clothes off. The Ben scooped Kate into his arms and carried her to the waiting bed.
He gently deposited her on the bed, leaning over and kissing her again. "Let's get this party started."
Guests in the hallway froze mid-step, eyebrows raised at the symphony of giggles and theatrical sighs emanating from Kate and Ben's room. The rhythmic creaking of furniture echoed down the corridor like Morse code for "do not disturb." At the front desk, the phone lines lit up like a Christmas tree. The hotel manager triangulated complaints like a human sonar system, pinpointing the epicenter of the disturbance with mathematical precision.
Behind the door, silhouettes danced across the walls as the lights dimmed. The headboard thumped against the wall with the enthusiasm of a woodpecker on caffeine, while neighbors on the other side exchanged knowing glances over their complimentary tea. On a planet where weather systems were micromanaged by advanced technology, Kate and Ben were creating their own climate event—a perfect storm of enthusiasm that had the room's barometric pressure rising by the minute.
Hotel management rapped sharply on the door.
"Excuse me? Miss Kono? Mr. Dalton, You have to bring it down, you're both disturbing the guests."
A crescendo of theatrical appreciation suddenly erupted from within. The staff exchanged crimson-faced glances, one stifling a snicker as the lock clicked. Kate's head appeared in the doorway, clearly wrapped only in dignity and doorframe.
"Do you mind?!" The slender young Asian held her finger to her lips. "Some people are trying to have sex in here!"
"Kaaaaaaaaate." Ben's voice warbles from inside the room Whoever it is, tell them to go away. We're on shore leave. I'm waiting. Hurry up sweetie. The mission isn't scrubbed."
Kate slammed the door on management's disapproving faces, crossing her heart with exaggerated solemnity that they'd dial down the decibels. She catapulted across the room like a naked missile, dive-bombing into the Egyptian cotton battlefield with such enthusiasm that Ben bounced six inches off the mattress. The Kate-shaped lump tunneled northward beneath the sheets like some exotic burrowing creature, finally erupting volcano-style beside Ben's pillow.
"My personal Human mattress is getting bossy," Kate giggled, peppering his face with kisses that landed with cartoon-like precision—forehead, nose, chin. "I pinky-swore we'd keep round two under the legal noise limit," she whispered, her eyes twinkling with mischief as her fingers transitioned from tickle-torture to shoulder massage, kneading his muscles like a cat making biscuits on its favorite human.
Ben giggled at Kate's antics as well as her tunneling ability and moaned in extreme pleasure as she kissed him. He returned the favor by kissing her lips, throat, down her neck and across her chest and continuing to her belly button. His kisses light and feathery. "Pinky swore? Then that is serious. We'll just have to do better." he answered in mock seriousness. Then continued, "We better be careful, we don't want to get kicked out or for them to call the captain."
Kate crawled completely back on top of Ben, the sheets up to her neck. They both shivered in unison a moment as the sheets lowered slightly and she breathed in sharply.
Kate swayed her hips with a playful shimmy. "Omigod, we're totally going where no man has gone before—well, where no Ben has gone before, anyway." She giggled, her cheeks flushing pink as she caught his gaze. "Way better than being like Counselor Troi—everyone on the Enterprise has been in her quarters. Total tribble magnet." She traced a finger along his chest, feeling his heartbeat quicken beneath her touch. "Good thing I'm just your friendly neighborhood intelligence officer with, like, classified access to your... personal logs." Her eyes sparkled mischievously as she noticed his body's unmistakable signal that the away mission was ready for redeployment.
"Just quantum-glitching about those logs, star-brain. Love making your pulse go supernova in multiple dimensions," Kate teased while letting Ben know she was just joking about reading his logs in her own way, her hips accelerating like a shuttle hitting warp. The resort hotel bed frame protested with metallic whines as she tried to minimize their gravitational impact on the thin walls that led to the neighbors bungalo. Between shallow breaths that became more rapid, she asked, "What's orbiting your cerebral sectors, anyway?"
Kate pressed her fingertips into his scalp, her eyes narrowing as she studied Ben's face beneath her. She winked and tapped the temple of his head after asking him that question. Her breath came in shorter gasps now, each one catching slightly in her throat as their bodies moved together in the dim light, the sheets twisted around their ankles as they moved in unison.
Ben lay underneath Kate as she climbed back atop him. He studied her face, her mischievous grin as she twisted her hips, grinding into him. His breaths came in short gasps as her finger ran along his chest. He raised his head to kiss her before falling back. "As to what is orbiting my cerebral sectors, you sweetie. Only you and all the fun we're having and going to have." As he raised up, his arms going around Kate and brought her down closer to him, uniting them.
Kate's skin tingled with goosebumps as Ben's fingertips traced lazy patterns across her bare shoulder. She nestled deeper into the warm hollow between his neck and collarbone, breathing in his scent—a mix of salt, sunscreen, and something uniquely him.
"So like, the totally awesome part?" she murmured against his skin. "We can literally do this anywhere. Back on the ship, on other planets... well, unless we hit an asteroid or whatever." She snorted at her own dark humor. "Seriously though, Starfleet is so weird. No money, constant danger, gross replicator food. And here's paradise! With actual beaches! And real drinks with those little umbrellas!" She sighed dramatically, stretching like a contented cat in the tangle of hotel sheets they'd thoroughly disheveled. "Why would anyone choose exploring dusty old planets when they could just... stay here forever?"
Ben kissed the top of her forehead as they lay snuggled together. "I think you know the answer to that and that is even as glorious as this is after awhile it would get boring and we need some sort of stimulation that being in service gives us." He paused and then continued, "It's a good theory anyways." The last said with a laugh as he pulled the covers over them both and contented moans soon filled the air.
