Chasing Rogues

Shran entered the conference room to find Jon and Stonebridge already there. He took his seat and looked at them both, "Situation report gentlemen."

Jon spoke first. "The situation on the ground is stable. The planetary defensive grid is intact but needs some repairs. Engineering are already there to affect repairs. A security detachment is also on the ground to augment and support both the Engineering teams and the colony's security force." He took a breath as he said his next. "We have a problem with the Governor. His wife and daughter were taken hostage by the Cardassians to force his compliance in bringing the grid down."

“I can double my efforts on looking for them sir!” Said Stonebridge.

Shran was quiet, a pensive look on his face. "We can depart soon I hope. I'd like for us to get underway in two hours. notify the engineering teams they have that long to complete their repair work. Make sure the security detachment is ready for full siege mentality until the fleet arrives." The Andorian turned his gaze towards Stonebridge, "Lieutenant, use you contacts and other resources to get whatever information you can regarding this rebel Cardassian group. Intel I gathered myself says they are a splinter group from the 3rd Order, Gul Dukat's former troops. Step lightly though, as we now have hostages we need to rescue, and I'd like for them to be alive when we find them."

“Yes sir. I’ll get right on that.” Replied Stonebridge

"I'll get us ready to depart in two hours as well informing the engineering teams they have that much time to complete repairs." Jon answered evenly.

"Very well gentlemen. Let's get to work."
