Location: Capitol City

The transporter beam released the away team in a shimmer of blue energy sparkles, revealing what appeared to be an impressive chamber and small contingent waiting for them.

Sam looked around the large chamber they had beamed into with wonder. The rebuild since the Borg's attack nearly 10 years ago appeared to have progressed very well. The light filled space was graced with long windows spaced evenly along the walls, revealed a terraforming paradise. The eco system was well on its way to recovery - greenery could be seen as far as the eye could clearly discern, avian species in the sky and quadrapeds ambling along the through the grasses.

" My goodness - this is astonishing" Sam whispered to herself, letting her wonder become apparent despite her best efforts to conceal it.

" I see you approve of our efforts" The leader of the contingent laughed, and stepped forward " I am Governor Drake, welcome to Ivor Prime"

The Washington team introduced themselves, stepping forward and shaking hands with the Ivor dignitaries before being invited on a tour of the Capital City.

The efforts of the Government support by relief agencies in the Federation was outstanding. An impressive city that governed the planet was a sight to behold. It was hard to imagine the planet had been all but decimated nearly a decade ago.

" The Federation provided us with the essentials, and we reopened some of the ore mines and refinaries that hadn't been too damaged" The Governor explain as the group followed him through the city's heart, meandering through tall buildings that spoke of resiliance and determination.

" This is amazing" Sam replied again " A true testament to the determination of your people" Giving the Governor a nod of compliment.

" To the determination, and I guess you could say stubbornness - we will not let the Borg defeat us" He chuckled in response before beginning to circle back to the transport chamber. " I have prepared a report for the Federation council on our efforts - I would be appreciative if you could add your own comments and forward it on our behalf." He handed a PADD to Commander Grayson with a smile and continued walking.

As they neared the tranporter chamber once more the Governor turned to the away team.

" Do you have any further questions?"
