Jon's Quarters.

3a.m.

Jon was still awake. The pain of losing Essie was overwhelming. He hurt both physically and mentally. He was having a difficult time getting past her not being here with him.

He went into the kitchen and got himself a drink. "I miss you so damn much Essie." His voice getting thick with emotion. "But I'm trying to be positive for the day we're together again and we can get married." His head dropped and his body spasmed and jerked as it was racked with sobs and the tears came again. "Essie." He started and started again. "I need you Essie. You make me complete. I'm just a shadow without you here. You knew me so well and how to talk and reach me when I was in one of my moods."

He took a sip of his drink, then threw the empty glass into the sink where it shattered. "I haven't been cleared for duty yet. I haven't even see a counselor yet. I don't know if Sam as either.
Maybe their going to force us both out after this mission. Time will tell I suppose."

He walked to the couch and sat heavily on it and stared at the ceiling Finally he spoke again.


"Here's a song for you Essie so you know how I feel and how much I love you.""
