A Family Again

Location: Jon and Callie's Qyarters
Timeline: After Good News

Callie was home. Her divided mind healed and she was Callie again, The family reunited and Jon couldn't be happier. Neither it seemed could be Harry as the boy literally shadowed Callie everywhere she went.

Jon sat in the recliner, his own recovery still on going. His injuries had been severe, life threatening from his fight with T'vall but it had been worth it he had saved Callie. Everything hurt or was stiff but he put on a brave face. What was a little pain to have your wife back and the family whole again.

Callie couldn’t help but smile as Harry followed her every move around their quarters. He had helped with everything she was trying to do, even getting her drinks when she wanted them. “I’m starting to feel like a celebrity the way I’m being waited on around here” she grinned as she sat down beside Jon. “I have missed both of you so much!!”

Jon squeezed her hand. "We missed you too Callie. I really missed you but you are back and we're a family again and I think to celebrate that what if we get some R&R we go do a family activity. What do you think?"

“It depends on what you’re thinking, you’re not exactly up to walking around a lot Imzadi.” Callie gave Jon a knowing look.

Jon looked at his wife and his eyes filled with tears. "I'm just so happy and relieved you are back here with me and Harry. I was thinking maybe a camping trip. something nice and relaxing, We can fish or take canoe rides or maybe even a short hike."

“Sounds great!” Callie nodded. “What do you think Harry? Would you like to go camping?”

Jon looked at their son. " Well Harry? You want to go camping or not?

Callie grinned as Harry leapt up and down for joy. “I’d say that’s a yes! So where do you have in mind?”

Jon smiled, "I'd say you were right. Callie." Jon answered before addressing Callie's question. Lupar 4. It's a frontier planet with a small population and millions of acres of wildness to explore."

Callie nodded. “Sounds wonderful, How soon do you plan on us going?”

" As soon as we can pack some personal belongings, grab a shuttle. Also going to grab a couple of phasers just to be on the safe side."

Callie nodded. “I’m packing everything we might need, we can keep the shuttle nearby in case of emergencies.” She motioned to Harry. “Harry, let’s get your things sorted as well.”

"Make sure you pack a couple of your string bikini's." Jon said with a smile. "We may be a lake and a swim could be in order." Jon finished with a smile and fell back against the couch. He was so looking forward to this and God knew they needed it.

Callie nodded. “I’ll do that, I’d like to go swimming.” She turned and headed towards the bedroom to get her things packed. “Do you need me to pack for you Imzadi?”

Jon nodded his head, "Please Callie. You know I never know what to take or I leave something behind. I'll take the steps to get us a shuttle and then we can be on our way."

Callie nodded. “Harry Sweetheart, come and help me then we’ll sort your things too.” She waved their son into the bedroom. “Jon can you organise us a tent and equipment?”

"Sure I'll get us a five man tent to give us extra room and place some supplies inside with us.. Also get the equipment we need from the Quartermaster." Jon replied ss he stood stiffly and went to go help Callie.
