Mission: Damn Dirty Apes
Location: USS Washington

As Shran sat on the bridge of the Washington waiting for any new information, he was surprised by the sudden appearance of a shuttle. "Captain, we have a shuttlecraft approaching and requesting permission to dock" said the young Trill at Ops.

"On screen" Shran ordered. "This is Capt Shran dh'Klar of the USS Washington. Please identify yourself."

"This is Lieutenant Nicole Logan. Requesting permission to dock sir. Chief security and tactical Officer sir." She said as she identified herself.

Shran's antennae half raised and twitched a bit. "I wasn't informed of your return lieutenant. You are catching me by surprise. Permission granted. Report to the bridge immediately upon your demarcation."

"Yes sir. Right away sir." As she smiled and smiled.

Shran waited for Logan to arrive and was happy to get a quick message from the surface. He was back at a science station looking at some of the latest readings when Logan arrived.

Logan then gets to the bridge and sees the captain. "Lieutenant Nicole Logan reporting as ordered sir." She said at attention.

Shran continued to look at the monitor as he reviewed the sensor data. "Lieutenant, last time I saw you, you were on your way to Starbase 86. What brings you back to my ship?"

"Well, sir. I feel like that this is my home this is where I belong not on Starbase 86." She said with a smile.

"So, you feel at home here." Shran looked up from the science station. "I hope you have satiated your wanderlust lieutenant. I prefer to keep people in place for a long time rather than playing, I believe the human game is called musical chairs, with them. I hope you get my meaning."

"Yes sir. It is called musical chairs. Although the Washington has been my home since I left. Sir." She said.

"Very well. We have a situation currently. Take your station" Shran said judiciously.
