Earth, Here we Come! (Backpost)

Mission: Training Cruise
Location: Callie and Jon's Quarters.
Timeline: During shoreleave

Jon looked at the stuff Callie had laid out for them. "Callie sweetie, is all this stuff for us?" He asked as he waved a hand at the luggage, strollers, backpacks and Harry's stuff. "It looks like an army is on the move." He teased good naturedly.

“Well it more or less is, there’s our things, Harry’s things, everything we need for Shona & Steven.” Callie sighed. “I’ve tried skimming it down and I can’t get it any less.”

Jon walked over and put his arm around Callie and hugged her. "I wasn't complaining Callie, and I apologize it sounded like I was. I know how organized you are. Want me to help or at least try to?" Jon offered.

Callie nodded. “Yes please, I know we don’t have to carry everything and it can be transported ahead of us, but it would be nice not to have to take absolutely everything!”

Jon kissed her cheek, "Okay, let's see what we have" He said as he looked at what Callie had organized and put together. "I think most of the stuff for the twins is a given. Don't you agree Callie?"

“Definitely!” Callie nodded. “Either that or we’ll end up replicating it all anyway. I don’t want to deprive Harry of any of his things either it wouldn't be fair.”

Jon nodded in agreement. "No it wouldn't be fair but it might be necessary Callie. Did you pack his toys or did Harry? I ask because I'm sure Harry will get more toys while we're on vacation. Plus if he leaves some here. He'll have more space for the new ones he gets." He looked at Callie, "Right?"

Callie smiled and nodded. “Your Logic is flawless, you’d make a Vulcan proud.” She grinned. “Actually Harry packed, I guess I should have checked what he put in.”

Jon smiled at Callie's complement. "Thanks sweetie. Let's open up Harry's suitcase and see just what he put in there. Hopefully some clothes." Jon chuckled.

~ A little while later ~

“Finally” Callie smiled as they finished organising. “That’s better than it was. We’ll be late for departure if we wait much longer.”

Jon nodded in agreement. Absolutely right Callie. Let's get Harry and the twins, get the bags loaded and get to the shuttle. We definitely don't want to miss our departure."

“Harry are you ready?” Callie looked across to Harry’s room. “We’ve got to get going.”

A moment later, Harry came bouncing out of his room to sit in front of Callie and Jon. He bounced in nervous excitement.

“Somebody is definitely excited!” Callie grinned as she gave their son a hug and a kiss in the top of his head. “It’s going to be busy getting there, but once we’re there we’re going to have lots of fun!”

Harry nodded excitedly. "When can we get started mummy!? Will i be able to go on rides? Where are we staying? Does it have a pool? Can we swim?" He asked excitedly as he rapid fired off questions even as he continued to bounce from foot to foot.

Callie grinned. “Now those are questions you’ll have to ask your father, he’s sorted all this out for us.” She looked at Jon curiously. “Even I don’t know where we’re starting off.”

Jon grinned in turn at Callie then Harry. "Well, since inquiring minds want to know." He trailed off and then grinned at Callie, "How badly do you want to know?" He bantered.

“Hmmm I could wait but...” Callie winked at Harry, “A certain young man here wants to know right now!”

"Does he now?" Jon answered looking at harry and smiling, winking at Callie. "Well, I don't want him to explode so I'll tell you both. "We're staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort at Disney World." He said calmly while sitting back and waiting for Callie and Harry's reactions.

Callie looked at Harry just as he looked at her before they both jumped for joy. “Disney World here we come!”

Jon smiled at the excitement on both Callie and Harry's faces. he decided to tease them. "Well, if you both don't want to go, we won't, we can just stay here aboard ship." He finished and wondered who was going to tackle him first.

“Oh no you don’t!” Callie grinned as she grabbed hold of Jon’s hand and practically dragged him towards the door. “Let’s get going! I’m not wasting another moment.”

Jon grinned broadly. "Thank goodness! I was worried you were going to want to stay here." He teased as he grabbed Harry, and their belongings as Callie had the twins.

~ Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney World, Earth ~
~ A while later ~

Arriving at their destination Callie stood taking it all in, check-in had gone okay and now she stood on the balcony of their suite looking at the view. “Wow! This is...amazing!!”

Jon came up and put his arm around Callie's waist and kissed her cheek. He nodded in agreement. "I agree Callie, it is amazing. We can take the monorail right into the park, so that will save a lot of walking, and we can take it right back here when we want to return to the room."

“That’s excellent” Callie nodded to Harry who was busy running back and forth between rooms. “Somebody is totally enjoying this!” She couldn’t help but grin.

"it seems you are right Callie. I want us all to enjoy it." Jon said as he watched Harry and his mad dash between the rooms. "so, we best get started enjoying ourselves." He said with a smile.

Callie nodded. “I’m sure there’s lots to do, and we have plenty of time to do it all. I’m aiming to enjoy every moment of this holiday.”

"Me too sweetie, me too. Where do want to start first?" Jon asked wanting this to be the best vacation Callie, Harry and the twins.

“Let’s just walk and see where we end up” Callie grinned as she got the twins settled into a double hover pushchair. “The thrill of discovery!”

"Can't argue with that Callie" Jon replied with a grin, "Let the adventure a begin." he said as the little family group headed out to begin their vacation.
