Relaxation or Execution?

Mission: Return to Paradise
Location: Sam's Quarters

So apparently we're heading back to Earth for some shore leave, although the Captain has requested both Jon, Stonebridge and myself to report to Command for a debrief. I don't know if its a debrief or an informal enquiry though - these things tend to get a little blurred sometimes.

I've spent some time talking Jon and now Estella about what happened to us down on the base. I still feel conflicted about my helping them find a cure to their damned virus. If I hadn't we'd all be dead, but then again so would they. Now we have a cure but so do they. 20 paces - about face.

Jon's not dealing well - he feels as though he's a failure. It couldn't be further from the truth. We all failed in that mission.
We killed when we were not supposed to, we were captured when we were supposed to be undercover. Not to mention the double crossing informant. Damned praetor kisser.

I've spent the evening gathering reports - we should be at Earth in 36 hours. Not a lot of time to prepare for your own execution. All the details are there. Now we wait.
