Captain's Log

We left Starbase 217 after getting Lt. Jones the needed medical care he required. He'll be there for some time I was told by Dr. Howard, but he will recover. I can not say what StarFleet will do with him after that. Perhaps he will return, or perhaps he will be sent elsewhere. He may be better off being stationed at a base of some sort as he seemed to have difficulty dealing with the rigors of starship duty.

I was hoping for a new mission after the last, but Command has decided to order us back to Earth. I will have to report in to Command of course, as will Jon, Samantha, and our new Intelligence Officer Lt. Stonebridge. I have been told we will be in orbit of Earth for 2 weeks, and the crew will have the ability to take shore leave. I hope that I will have time to return home to Andoria for a few days as I haven't been home in nearly a year.

I am told we will arrive in the Sol system in 46 hours. With Jon and Samantha still under the care of Estella, I am returning to the days before I was a captain and dealing with the requests for shore leave myself. I had forgotten how much work goes into it. Nonetheless I am managing it and it looks like everything will be set when we arrive.
