Stonebridge sat in his office reading ops reports from teams in the field. As he read the report from the Star Base, Stonebridge smirked and continued reading. The team had amassed an amazing amount of currency and assets. It would seem they had a Syndicate boss in their pocket as well as half the illegal trade on the station.

Michael had to laugh. He had left them alone for a month and they had almost taken over completely!

“Note to self. Tell the team to turn it down a notch or two. “ then he laughed and put down the tablet and dropped the sub space communication.

The whole purpose for a team on the star base was to stay a step ahead of tragedy. A team that could deploy if the unthinkable happened. Backup if you will. They had surpassed even his expectations. They could do much more than back him up. They could take over crime in the sector if they so desired with a resume like this. Michael shook his head and departed the room.
