Mission:
Wounds From the Mirror
Location: USS Washington - Brig
Shran entered the brig, Cmdr Smith and his entire unit standing guard along with Ayana and the standard security officer on duty, in this case a Tellerite warrant officer named Grog. It was still strange for Shran to see his mirror opposite, like meeting a twin you never knew existed. But they both knew about each other, both had met one another on several occasions, and despite having him incarcerated, Shran somehow knew he would see his opposite again at some future encounter, likely when he least expected.
"So, got you here again. And you won't be escaping this time" Shran stated as he looked at his counterpart. "You caused a great deal of damage. I have to admit, if my orders weren't to capture you, I'd happily kill you just to give a bit of comfort to all those you harmed."
The Mirror Shran offered a vile grin. "Yes, you captured me. Congratulations. And I am happy to see you are at least capable of violent thoughts. Funny you think I got captured so easily though."
"I won't play this game with you. I trust my people. And we absolutely outmaneuvered you" Shran replied.
The Mirror was noticeably angry with the perceived taunt. "How dare you! You will respect my tactical abilities."
Shran looked at his subordinates to hide the laugh he wanted to let out. He looked back at his opposite, "Tactics? Sloppy brutality is not a tactic. The only tactic you seem to have used was the attempt to lead us into a trap and use the override codes. But once we stopped that, you ran out of any strategy and reverted back to your predictable, albeit brutal, self. Perhaps what you did is considered tactical in your universe, but here, you are little more than a goon, and that is me being generous."
"One day, I'll have you under my blades, and we'll see how smug you are then" the Mirror Shran sneered threateningly.
Shran offered a smug grin as he looked at him before turning and walking out, leaving his opposite to stew in the cell.
