Mission: Breen in Paradise
Location: Breen Vessel

Sam looked up as she closed the communication to the Washington.

"Alright team, let's get out of here before we have our asses discovered."

Aiko nodded as she readied herself for departure, abandoning her cover position and moving towards the doors leading out of the room. She suspected they would be heading back the way they came to the beam in site. If all went according to plan, they would have beamed in and out of the Breen ship without being detected. It was a clear indication that the Breen must have suffered a significant amount of damage and casualties to have not noticed intruders on board their ship.

All the better for the Starfleet Away Team, Aiko surmised. As much as she would love to test her mettle against Breen, a part of her was also hoping it would not come to that.

Sam took a tricorder reading of the corridor before opening the doors, thankful there were no Breen in the direct area. She waved the team through, all senses reaching out to detect the slightest hint of a trap or Breen presence. Would they get off the ship undetected? Had their luck finally changed?

"Go!" she hissed at the away team, indicating the direction of their beamout site. The team darted into the corridor and towards their exit, Sam scanning with one hand, weapon in the other ready to defend if necessary.

They skidded into the small room they had beamed into, still thankfully devoid of any Breen. Sam dared to hope they were going to pull this off.

"Howard to Washington, 4 to beam out"

In a glimmer of the transport beam the away team vanished, leaving no evidence they had ever been there, appearing a moment later back on board the Washington.

"Transporter room 2 to Captain, the Away team has returned" The transporter chief announced as the beam released the team safe and sound.

Sam turned to the team " Good job today, transfer the files from the Breen computer and I will take them to the Captain." She nodded gratefully to each of them for their efforts before turning on her heel and heading up to the bridge.
