It's All Greek to Me

Miami had been quite fun for the two ladies. South Beach had provided an excellent start to their vacation and the night life had been equal to their day time activities. Not that they were doing all that much honestly. Ayana and Deanna were content with spending the days lounging around and catching a few rays as the Terrans put it, listening to the tranquil sounds of the ocean as the waves washed up to the shore and the birds flew about, and perhaps take a dip in the water.
Now they were enjoying more of the same, this time on the Greek island of Zakynthos. They had used the morning to view the architecture and scout out where they might go later on in the evening. After a light lunch the two ladies had changed and made their way down to the beach. Celes enjoyed the different aspects of this beach, the sand like a fine sugar, the water a breathtaking turquoise. It didn't hurt that she could sense how much attention they were drawing from several of the men that were around as the two women were wearing the latest in beach fashion from Risa, which a bit more than Deanna wanted to wear honestly, but humans did believe in some modesty.
Ayana enjoyed the gentle breeze as it blew the salty air about as she sat in lounge chair beneath the large umbrella and sipped her fruity drink. She was happy just relaxing, not worrying about anyone or anything for a few days. It was a necessary respite from her duties. The relaxing was necessary, she planned to get wild this evening at the club. A night of drinking and dancing was certainly in order after all they had been through over the last few months.
A few guys considered approaching them but always seemed to wimp out. Deanna was quite disappointed in all honesty. It wasn't until the late afternoon when they were discussing packing up and going back to the hotel that a couple guys finally did approach them. The men were cute enough, both locals who were out and about for their normal afternoon stroll. They could tell the ladies were tourists and figured it worth the risk to at least have a chat with them. Ayana and Deanna both agreed that chatting would be fine, but they then made plans for dinner as well. It did take the ladies a few moments to get used to their accents of course. The guys still preferred to speak in Greek versus the planetary standard English, so when they did speak, they took time to translate to themselves before actually speaking. The ladies didn't have the heart to tell them they both had universal translators. They told the men where they were staying and the dinner date was made for 1830, giving the ladies a little over two hours to wash up and put on their party dresses.
As Deanna and Ayana made their way up the beach towards the hotel they both agreed, it certainly looked like it was going to be a very good night.
