Mission: Tal Shiar
Location: Sickbay

Dr Samantha Howard strode with purpose towards sickbay, her mind racing with the prospect of dealing with the Tal Shiar. They were a ruthless organisation with little morals and a degree of unauthorised tactics. She shuddered inwardly at the thought of confronting any of them.

The grey doors of sickbay silently parted as she neared, only the slight hiss of a negative pressure air curtain the only announcement of her arrival back in her workplace.

" What's up Boss? You look worried" Perrim asked, as the rest off the team not occupied directly in patient care gathered around. " Problems?"

Sam sucked in a breath, composing herself before continuing.
" I can't tell you too much, as our next mission is highly classified. No talk of this is to leave this room. Everyone understand?" She glanced around at her team and eyeballed each and every one of them with a look of seriousness.

" We need to prepare for casualties, possibly from biological warfare, plus combat injuries, phasers, blunt trauma - you know the drill" She started, carefully watching the expressions on her team. They were professional, but she could also see the concern underlying the duty.

" Prepare Wards 2 and 3 to be biological warfare patients, negative air pressure, full containment protocols. We split into two teams, one team dealing dealing with that, the other will be dealing with combat injuries. The two will not mix per standard control procedures. Dr Perrim, you need to step up and co-ordinate preparations, this is going to be your show until I get back. I'll be on one of the away teams once we reach our target destination. Everyone clear?"

A sea of nods of murmours of " Yes Doctor" were made before the group dispersed, their training kicking and determining their next courses of action.

" Good Luck Sam, I have a feeling you might need it" Doctor Perrim said sagely.

" To us all" Sam replied, taking one last look around sickbay before heading back to her quarters to prepare - she had a lot of reading the various dealings with the Tar Shair to catch up on, not to mention the biological warfare component. It seemed they were about to head right into the thick of it.
