"Approaching destination" said L'Rissa from the conn.

"Bring us out of warp. Half impulse. Stealth approach" ordered Shran.

The red alert klaxons had long since stopped, but the bridge was dimly lit, the red lights providing the bulk of illumination. Shran sat quietly in his command chair, the only senior officer currently on the bridge. The tension was palpable, yet those on the bridge continued to do their jobs. It was quiet, eerily so, as if the smallest sound might allow the ship to be detected like an ancient Earth submarine that was rigged for silent.

"Approaching asteroid field" said Ayana at tactical.

"What are your scans telling you?" asked Shran.

"Everything is as it should be sir" she responded.

"Very good. L'Rissa, bring us into high orbit as planned, from the backside of the moon."

L'Rissa nodded and gave a slight purr as she input the commands. "We are in high orbit sir" she said as the ship moved into position.

"Ayana?"

"Coordinates set. It is still night on this part of the planet. Conditions nominal."
