I missed the entry I was supposed to make last night but with good reason, even though I am currently nursing a raging headache...and hangover.
So...last night was...different.
I suppose you could even say fun...perhaps the best fun I have had in a while.
How did it begin you might ask? Well...settle down and I'll tell you.
See, it all started when I ended up going to the lounge after my duty shift to grab a quiet dinner but the lounge was abuzz with activity from several new civilian faces from the Serenity.
Side note...that's such a lovely name. In the unlikely event I ever have a daughter, I think I would like to name her Serenity.
Unlike the name of the ship, the crew was anything but serene. I supposed an argument could be made that they are serene in the sense of having no worry and being generally care-free. But there was nothing calm about this rather rowdy and raucous group. But that's what was was so exciting about running into them!
Some of them appear to have been old buddies of the Captain and a few of the other senior officers, judging from the conversation. I'm not exactly sure of the connection, although I gather there are likely fascinating stories to be regaled there.
I am not exactly sure how it started but one of the crew of the Serenity caught my eye and we started talking and before I knew it, he roped me into having a drink...or was it the other way around?
My memory from last night is still a bit hazy in parts...the unimportant parts anyway.
Anyway, I started with synthehol at first but when the Captain and the other senior officers left for the night, that soon evolved into shots of Romulan ale.
Don't ask me how they got their hands on Romulan ale. I have a strict don't ask, don't tell policy when it comes to quality and delicious, but legally questionable alcohol.
I think Trystan...oh right, didn't tell you his name did I? Trystan...huh...can't recall what he said his last name was.
Anyway, not that important. Trystan thought it would be easy to drink me under the table, not knowing that underneath this good girl exterior of the model Starfleet officer is a rebel.
I can't say exactly how it started but I suspect it was somewhere in between tiring of just admiring his dark and handsome features and his inviting contagious laugh, I took charge to steal a taste of those succulent lips of his.
I guess the copious amount of liquid courage didn't hurt.
One thing led to another and before I knew it, we were in my quarters and well...let's just say we both had a good time.
When I woke he was gone, leaving only the lingering aroma of his being and a disheveled bed as evidence he was ever here. Then, there was the note he left.
One thing's for sure, he's no chivalrous suitor. In fact, I think he might be the complete opposite. After all, who in their mind leaves behind a note saying, thanks for the tryst with Trystan. But then again, I can't complain too much. I got just what I needed as I presume he did.
Now to pay for it with this hangover for the rest of my duty shift..
Ah well...worth it!
Aiko out.
