Reminiscences on 'God-like' Beings

Personal log, it would seem that the use of transphasic energy and weapons do have an effect on the so called 'god-like' beings. This would leave the question, are transphasic weapons and energy effective against all 'god-like' beings? Beings like the Q? Or is it only effective against beings similar to the Appolo being encountered by the famous Captain James T. Kirk, and our own Loki and Lugh? From the landing party reports I have read we may add in another wrinkle to this, another 'god-like' being similar to Loki and Lugh; Hela the Asgardian Goddess of Death. It would appear that Lieutenant Shoniara T'ghann-Travis made a deal with this being to bring back her daughter, an unwise decision in my opinion, but then who am I to judge her. I myself set off on a personal vendetta that shattered my mind in the end. I can only hope Lieutenant Shoniara is prepared for whatever tricks this being is going to play on her. This again brings me back to the question of these beings, are they related to the being that Captain James T. Kirk encountered that called himself Apollo, or a different species? Should Starfleet put a protocol in place to use transphasic energy and weapons as a last resort to deal with these types of beings, similar to the protocols Starfleet has in place to deal with Species 8472 and the use of bio-molecular warheads containing modified nanoprobes. This again leads to the question, would the use of transphasic energy and weapons work on a species like the Q, or just anger them? We must also consider the advanced humans found on the second class-M planet and how they feel about our releasing of these 'god-like' beings. For me I do not need to worry about this question as it will be decided by those far above me in rank. I just have to submit my report to Starfleet Intelligence and allow them to decide what to do with the information. For now, the only people who know about this incident and the use of transphasic energy and weapons are those crew members of the USS Washington that were involved. Only Captain Shran dh'Klar and I may access the information on this incident that was recorded by sensors or other devices. I have provided my opinion on the matter and whether Starfleet and Starfleet Intelligence will take my advice or disregard it is beyond my control.
