Mission: The Orion Syndicate
Location: Grayson Quarters

Callie had spent some time on the holodeck, letting Jon have some time to himself whilst Harry was visiting a friend. Giving Harry time to enjoy himself she picked him up on her way home, the two arriving home together.

Jon was on the couch, he had finished his breathing exercises and he was relaxing when Callie and Harry came home. "Hi, you two have a good time today?"

Callie smiled and nodded. “Yeah I think so. How about you Harry?”

“It was great!!” Harry practically bounced up and down for joy before stifling a yawn.

“Looks like somebody is tired too.” Callie grinned. “Why don’t you go to your room and watch your PADD until your bedtime.” She smiled as she watched Harry go before sitting down beside Jon. “How are you doing?

Jon turned to face Callie, "Me? Fine and dandy Callie. Never better." He lied. "Dex showed me some breathing routines to do. I had just finished them."

Callie nodded. “Okay so stop giving me an excuse and tell me how you really feel. I know you’re not telling me how you truly feel Jon, you don’t have to pretend around me. Talk to me!”

"I thought I was Callie." he joked but saw the look in her eyes and got serious. "Sit down please." He asked and waited as she did so. "I feel like a coiled up spring Callie."

Callie nodded as she gently took hold of her husband’s hand. “I thought there was something wrong, I can feel it. What happened with...” she didn’t say the name. “None of it has helped you.”

Jon brought her hand up and kissed it softly. "Callie, you are worth whatever I go through. That week you were ... missing felt like an eternity. I felt dead inside. I just wanted you back in my arms."

Callie nodded as she smiled and looked into Jon’s eyes. “If it hadn’t been for your love, I would have been lost to him. The whole time he convinced me I was his wife, I felt... like my heart was being pulled elsewhere. Here, back to you!”

Jon didn't say a word he just kissed Callie again and again. He loved her totally and completely. After one kiss he pulled back and looked at her, "We're soulmates Callie. Our hearts and souls are bound to each other for all time. There is no separating us."

“For that I'm eternally grateful” Callie smiled as she returned Jon’s kisses, ever mindful of the fact that they’re son was in his room. “It’s moments like this I have to remember Shon’s orders about not making love.”

Jon giggled. "More importantly Callie, Harry walking in on us, Now that would be embarrassing!" He finished as he kissed her again.

“Now Harry I remembered!” She grinned playfully. “Are you feeling any better now? Is our talk helping?”

"Good thing you do. Don't need him walking in on mummy and daddy and some of the things we did when we were younger." Jonn said with a smile "And yes our talk is helping but you just being here helps Callie."

Callie smiled and nodded. “Good I’m glad, that works both ways. Without you I’m not sure I’d be holding myself together as well as I am.”

Jon nodded, happy his presence helped Callie. He wanted her happy and healthy free from any demons or guilt she might still be having.

“You do know I’d be lost without you right?” Callie grinned. “Not that I’ll be without you.”

"Callie, you are my life and my love.' Jon said quietly. "I don't know what I would do without you in it."

“You’ll never have to find out Imzadi” Callie smiled. “So how’s about dinner?”

"For which I am eternally grateful Callie." Jon replied with a smile of his own. "Dinner sounds wonderful." He admitted.

Callie kissed Jon lovingly. “Great! I’ll go get something scrumptious on to eat, while you get some rest.” She smiled as she stood up. “I won’t be too long.”

"Sure Callie." Jon said as he got up and went into their bedroom. Lying on the bed he was soon shaking and crying softly. "What is wrong with me?" He thought as he fought to stop his body revolting against him.

Out in the kitchen Callie had felt the change, making her way to the bedroom she sat gently beside Jon. “Are you okay? Is there anything I can do?”

He nodded and managed to give Callie a smile. "Fine Callie, just getting some repressed emotions out of my system." he replied. he didn't know if that was true but it sure sounded good.

Callie nodded and offered a hug and kiss. “Well if it helps. If you need me I’ll be making you a wonderful meal.” She offered a smile before reluctantly heading back to the kitchen.

Jon nodded and smiled. As Callie went back into the kitchen he groaned but managed to stop the shakes. After another few minutes he got up and went into the kitchen to join Callie.

“Grab a seat” Callie smiled as she brought out some food. “This will make you feel better, it’s your favourite after all.” She kissed him on the cheek.

He looked up at her and said. "My favorite? You?" He asked innocently, though his eyes danced with delight.

“I perfected it this time! No disgusting mistakes” She grinned. “Now tuck in and get your strength up.”

"Well sit down and we'll eat together. it looks great and smells divine. Thank you for this Callie."

Taking a seat Callie smiled. “It’s my pleasure Imzadi. Just seeing you happy makes me happy.”
