Seeing a Junior officer

Mission: Damn Dirty Apes
Location: Office
Timeline: After the second trip to the surface

As Lieutenant Logan got to her office and resettled in her office she tapped her combadge =/\= Ensign Phoenix please report to my office I'd like to discuss some stuff and get back up into speed again. Repeat Ensign Phoenix please report to my office =/\=

James was sitting on a couch in the rear portion of ten-forward with a warm cup of coffee which was still fresh to the point that it was still steaming. Also on the table was a stack of reports that needed to be brought to the boss. The one he was working on currently was nearly finished. He was on the last paragraph when he received the call.

He tapped his badge. "Aye Lieutenant, I'm on my way" he said before quickly finishing the report. He then downed his coffee and discarded the empty cup. He left ten-forward with the stack of reports in his arm and made his way towards Lieutenant Logan's office.

After a short walk and a ride on the turbo-lift he found himself in front of the Lieutenant's office. He pressed the button for the door chime and waited for a response.

She heard the chime go off and a voice came through the door "Enter." She said. She say there smiling

James walked into her office as ordered. "You wanted to see me ma'am? I have those reports you asked for" he said extending the stack of PADDs to the Lieutenant.

She then took the stack of PADDs that the ensign was handing to her. "Good work Ensign." As she was looking through the reports. "Any other good reports that I need to know about?" She asked.

After the reports were taken off of his hands, he folded his arms behind his back and interlaced his hands and made a quick smile at the complement. "Unfortunately ma'am those are all I brought."

"I see weapons have been in somewhat damaged. Shields have been down. Very interesting stuff. What do you think we can do to make weapons and shields better then they are more Ensign?" She asked.

James racked his brain for a few minutes. "The Washington is one of the most advanced ships as it is. But to make things more efficient after repairs, we could remove any unnecessary resistance in the EPS grid and possibly reroute power to a more efficient route if needed depending on the situation. We could also upgrade the weapons if allowed or possible" he suggested.

"I actually like that suggestion. I'll inform the captain with these reports and give him the suggestion you have given me ensign. Well done. Keep me appraised of the situation. Until then, go back to the bridge and I'll be right there as soon as I can." She said with a smile.

Phoenix returned the smile. 'Aye Lieutenant" he said before turning on his heel and exiting Lieutenant Logan's office and heading towards the bridge.
