Hidden Treasures

Mission: Sinister Intentions
Location: USS Washington

Celes scanned the planet as instructed, tying in every sensor to maximize the sensitivity. She also has pulled up records from StarFleet Corps of Engineers regarding the planet, including a few records that ha been made classified. She had been working on this for nearly 20 minutes before she spotted something. "Ayana, take a look at this."

Ayana walked over and looked at the screen. "That can't be right. What would Orion biosignatures be doing on a Federation colony?"

Celes shook her head. "I don't know, but there they are, and I am detecting multiple biosignatures from other Federation races in close proximity. I think we found ourselves a hideout or processing station. I'm detecting weapon emplacements as well, including photon launchers."

"I'd say that is worth a look" said Ayana.

At just that moment Grayson and Shran exited the turbolift onto the bridge. Celes looked at them, "I believe we found something."

"What have you found?" questioned Shran.

"We have located a network of underground tunnels. We are still scanning them to determine how far they go. Several of them lead deep into the planet and we'll need work to get to the end of them. But one thing of note we have found is what appears to be a base or hideout of some kind that seems to be heavily armed to defend against an assault. We are detecting Orion life signs along with multiple Federation races."

"Sounds like a solid lead." Shran turned to Jon, "Ready to take a look and deal a crippling blow?"

Jon met Shran's look head on. "If you mean getting Callie back and taking down that sleazeball T'vall than yes I am sir." Jon answered firmly.

"Gear up and get down there then. Ayana, Deanna, you are with him."

Ayana and Deanna both nodded confidently.

Ayana hit her comm badge, =^=Ensign Phoenix, Ensign Ravecroft, Lt Dex, security team alpha, report to transporter room 2 in full gear. =^= She entered the turbolift with the others and they headed off. She was ready to make right what she considered a mistake on her behalf.
