As the contact with Shran ended, Deanna decided it was worth the risk to contact Jon. She tapped on her comm badge, =^=Celes to Grayson. =^=

Jon heard Deanna's voice and was pleasantly surprised to hear it. =^= Grayson here Deanna,=^=.

Deanna was happy to hear Jon's voice. =^=Hope this isn't a bad time, but after speaking with the captain I felt it important for us to touch base with you. We have made progress on our end and wanted to make sure you were aware of the situation.=^=

=^= Not at all Deanna, we just got checked into our rooms and we've gone over our plan for when we arrive at the NASA facility. What's up with your situation?"

=^=Sam sent you some information, but thought it was important to speak with you as well. We have mostly completed our side of things. We found future technology that T'Plana and I are studying and will be eliminating any tech from the facility shortly. We also captured an operative. He has a partner working at your facility who seems to be the command officer. Our operative was a mind shredder, so if you encounter an operative, avoid mind melds. Sam may have additional medical information to provide as well.=^=

As Deanna finished giving him the latest update, Jon listened and then spoke, =^= Good work Deanna. My compliments to your team, on the fine work you all did. Thanks for the info on the operative we're hunting. A mind shredder huh? Okay no mind melds with them. Standing by for any information Sam wants us to know. =^=

=^=One other thing Jon, for purposes of your cover, I have discovered that many of the people are thinking about a holiday of some sort called Christmas. It is apparently very near and seems very important to most for various reasons. Perhaps you can use this information to your advantage.=^=

Deanna speaking about Christmas got a bright smile and the attention of Ayana who had not realized it was that time of year, at least here.

Deanna was a bit confused at the statement, but she could hear the joy in his voice and concluded this must be a human colloquialism. She decided a reply was required, =^=Merry Christmas to you as well Jon.=^=

From a short distance away, Ayana could be heard in a boisterous tone, "Merry Christmas to everyone!"

Sam smiled as the crew exchanged greetings, they had shared all the relevant information that they had and were now waiting to see how the other away team did in their capture of the time travelling superior.

Celes continued her update, =^=We'll remain here for the time being in case you require any assistance, but the captain wants us to get our captive back to the ship soon. =^=

=^= Understood Deanna. I've called a meeting to tell the others what you have told me. We'll go to the NASA facility and begin our search for the other temporal agent.=^=
