Location: Cape Kennedy

- Hilton Hotel, Shon & Seth’s Room -

Just in the process of undressing her husband a low knock on the door could be heard. Shon and Seth looked at each other as they began to get dressed. “Go and see who it is Seth?” She said.

"Whoever it is, they have lousy timing." Seth quipped and hurriedly redressed and made sure he looked presentable as he headed to the door to see who it was.

Outside the door Callie hoped she hadn’t woken Seth and Shon up, or interrupted their romantic time.

Peering through the door's peephole, Seth saw Callie standing there. Opening the door, he asked. "Callie? What is it?"

“I’m sorry to disturb you Seth” Callie offered an apologetic smile. “Jon wants everyone to a meeting in our quarters as soon as possible.”

Seth gave her a look, "A meeting? Now? Your husband has very poor timing Callie." Seth remarked half seriously.

Shon, now dressed walked up behind Seth. Putting her arms around his waist she whispered “this isn't over mister.”

Callie gave her friend a look. “I certainly hope you two weren’t about to do what Jon and I have been avoiding, as per medical advice for both of us Shon. Anyway I’ll see you back at our Quarters I have to go get Phoenix.

Seth gently squeezed Shon's hands as he continued to smile at Callie, giving her his best diplomatic smile.

“Damn, I’d forgotten about that.” Shon smiled and smoothed her jacket. “But, then again I am the doctor.” She pulled Seth back and leant against the door closing it with her back. “Just kiss me?” She asked.

"A request I am happy to preform my love." Seth whispered as he kissed Shon passionately on her full lips.

- Phoenix’s Room -

Moving on to Phoenix’s room Callie knocked the door and waited for a response.

James had been taking a small nap on his bed when he had heard the knock, which had waken him. It was a light nap so it was to pass time. The Ensign rubbed his eyes and rolled out of the bed. He groggily slid over to the door and answered.

"Counselor, is everything alright?" James asked

Callie nodded. “Everything’s fine, I’m sorry to disturb you James” She offered an apologetic smile. “Jon wants everyone to a meeting in our quarters as soon as possible.”

"No worries" he began before he let out a small yawn. "I'll be there in a few."

“I’ll see you there” She smiled and headed on back.


- Jon & Callie’s Room -

Jon waited for Callie and the others to return. he thought on the information he had. They were going to have to proceed carefully. No doubt their quarry knew that his partner had been caught so would be doubly cautious. Which meant Jon and the others had to be at the top of their game.

Returning to Quarters Callie offered a slightly annoyed sigh as she greeted Jon. “That’s so annoying! I think I caught Shon & Seth at an awkward moment, when we’ve been purposely following the medical advice given against it!”

Jon chuckled softly at Callie's annoyance. "You think? You probably did Callie. Doctors make the worse patients. They never follow their own advice. Which means if it is okay for Shon and Seth, it should be okay for us right? If we're careful. Right?"

Callie couldn’t help but grin at that one. “Right” she nodded. “Me and you, in that bedroom after the meeting!” She grinned as she moved in for a passionate kiss.

"Ohhhhh! I like when you get forceful Callie. Very commanding." Jon bantered with her as he opened his arms to embrace her as she moved in to kiss him. "Captain Callie Raven-Grayson of Starfleet. The ideal officer, who is loved very much by her husband." He said in a macho voice over.

“Me, Captain?” Callie shook her head. “No way! You’re the boss, I like it when you’re in charge!” She grinned a wry grin. “Ohh and I love you very much too.”

"Very kind of you Callie. Excellent command thinking." Jon bantered, " I think I can come up with something to show you just how much I love you. That's if you need convincing." The last said with a bright smile.

“You don’t need to convince me of anything handsome!” Callie grinned, just then there was a knock at the door. “Looks like we have company.”

"But Callie, I feel an urgent need to convince you, to show you just how much I love you." Jon laid it on. he was about to say more when a knock came on their door. "Damn." He muttered, "Remember where we were." He told Callie, grinning.

“Ohh I most definitely will” Callie grinned as she took a seat and let Jon answer the door.

"I'm counting on that Callie." Jon smiled at her as he moved to answer the door and let the rest of the team in.

Shon headed for Callie as soon as they entered the room. “You and I need to talk privately.” She said smiling. “It’s about what you saw a few minutes ago.”

Callie nodded. “Of course, as soon as the meeting is over. I don’t want to hold things up.”

Shon nodded and shivered. Finding Seth the couple sat on the small two seater couch in the corner of the room. Shon took Seth’s hand and held it tight.

Jon looked around the room as the others got settled. "Alright I just finished speaking with Deanna. They have captured a temporal agent. One of two it seems. His superior is at NASA and undoubtedly knows of his partner's capture, so he will be on guard. We will need to be on our toes to catch out quarry. So be extra careful in maintaining your cover."

James had slid into the room with the rest of the group. Currently he was taking in the information that he was given. He'd need to be even more careful for the fact that it was confirmed that they were dealing with temporal agents who could potentially know who he and the rest of the team were from their history, if they were from further than the 24th century. The Ensign spoke up. "Any idea where we will make our entrance? Possibly somewhere where he won't realize we're at the Cape at least at first?"

Jon nodded at Phoenix, "Good question and to answer that, yes, I have. We will enter the NASA facility through the admin building and not the launch facility or white room or any part of the complex that deals with spacecraft and astronauts. We will make an unassuming entrance. No fanfare, hopefully nothing that will draw attention to ourselves."

"Sounds discrete enough" Phoenix nodded in agreement. For the majority of the times he went to Cape Kennedy before Alpha Three's launch he had always entered any place that was more or less 'discrete' whether it was through the admin building or simple back entrances. He had sort of forgotten about all of that until now and it was starting to come back to him. 350+ years frozen and adrift in space does that to a person.

Shon crossed her legs. “How are we getting there in the morning Jon?"

Jon smiled, "A very good question Shon. Arrangements have been made to have a black Lincoln sedan the kind used by federal agencies to be dropped off here. I believe they call it was called a limo. It will be here first thing in the morning. We will use it to get to the facility."

“Well as the resident group medic I think we should all get some sleep as tomorrow is going to be a difficult day. Callie I can give you a neural dampener before we leave.” Shon stood and gently took Seth’s hand behind him in case he became embarrassed holding hands with her in company.

"An excellent idea Shon." Jon readily agreed. "Everyone go, get some sleep. We'll meet in the lobby at 7:30, have breakfast and then head to the NASA facility."

Seth moved Shon's and his hand to the front. he loved and wasn't embarrassed in the least to be seen holding her hand.

Shon shot a look at him and squeezed his hand. She looked at Callie and nodded. “Let’s go get some sleep my husband?” She said.

Seth nodded, "An I idea I can totally support my wife. Let's go." He looked at the others, "Goodnight, everyone, see you all in the morning."

Back in their room Shon quickly locked the door and went to draw the curtains. She looked out at the lights twinkling over the city and shivered. “Hundreds of thousands of lives out there Seth living their existence.” She drew the curtains tight and turned. “I feel so sorry for them my love…..because they don’t have you! Take me to bed Seth and make me forget where we are until the morning.”

"Darling, I can guarantee you that all you will remember is how much I love you." Seth replied as he took her hand and suddenly scooped her into his arms and took her to the bed. "Be prepared to be whisked away Shon my darling."
