Welcome to the USS Washington-E!
Welcome to the USS Washington-E, a post-Dominion War sim. The year is 2386. The Dominion War has been over for several years, but its aftermath is still unfolding. The Federation and the Romulans are the only two major powers, and only the Federation is stable, to a point. The Klingon Empire is still rebuilding and addressing its many wounds from the war, Cardassia is in shambles and occupied, and the Romulans are in far worse shape because of their own misdeeds than they would have outsiders believe. The Federation is now the lone superpower in the Quadrant, a role it neither wants nor enjoys. Exploration has returned, but the dangers of space have never been more pronounced. Welcome to the USS Washington, where danger and adventure lurk around every corner.

Hopefully everyone had a good holiday season. Below you will find the December Awards. Congrats to the winners, and good luck representing us at the fleet level.

November has come and gone, and as is normal with the holiday season starting, it slowed up our posting. I totally understand why things slowed though. As we enter December and the heart of the holidays, I know we all will spend more time with family, but I hope you will all have some fun writing here as well. Below you will find the November Awards. I congratulate our winners and wish them luck as they represent the ship at the fleet level.

Trick or treat! Well, that was a few days ago, but yes, October is over, so time to look at the month and discuss what we all did. Honestly, it was a solid month. The current mission has a fun and interesting main story, and the undercurrent subplot has been equally as interesting, as they seem to be naturally sewing themselves together. Nearly everyone had at least one post in October, and most had at least 5 posts. We were all working on group work it seems, so no solo posts to look at this month. Hopefully November will be…

Mission: Not All Orders Are Easy
Posted on Tue Jan 13th, 2026 @ 12:47pm by Ensign Aidan "A.J." Reid
AJ strode into the gleaming expanse of Engineering, the metallic hum of equipment vibrating through his boots. His gaze caught on a copper-skinned woman with upswept eyebrows and those distinctive pointed ears he'd only seen in holovids. Back in Kingston, Vulcans were as rare as snow.
"Ey now, sistren," AJ called out, his rich Jamaican patois rolling through the sterile space. "Mi nuh mean fi interrupt yuh duties, but mi wonderin' if yuh could help out di Intelligence department wid a likkle situation. Starfleet Command send we dis test, seen? If yuh could answer some technical questions, yuh would be…

Mission: Not All Orders Are Easy
Posted on Tue Jan 13th, 2026 @ 12:40am by Captain Shran dh'Klar & Commander Jonathan Grayson & Commander Samantha Howard & Lieutenant Commander Callie Raven-Grayson
Shran remained on the bridge as the ship moved towards their new destination. He reviewed the sensor data as it was coming in, Ens Kuzma sitting in at Ops currently as Deanna worked on thing at one of the rear bridge stations. The rear turbolift doors opened and Jon and Callie exited onto the bridge.
"Sorry to call you up here, but duty calls" Shran said with a smirk.
"Not a problem sir. We're always on the clock." Jon replied with a smile and continued, "What's the situation?"
"We got a distress call from an anthropology team. The transmission was…

Mission: Not All Orders Are Easy
Posted on Mon Jan 12th, 2026 @ 2:16pm by Lieutenant JG Benjamin "Ben" Dalton
Ben crept into the quarters he and Kate shared carrying a small bundle. It was a dog, a Siberian husky to be specific. Twelve weeks old. He knew Kate had grown attached to a dog she had 'adopted; when on the Wild West planet and how upset she had been when the dog died even though she his it well. He hoped this dog would ease her pain. He put the dog down on the carpet and spoke to it. "This is your new home boy and soon you'll meet Kate and I know you will love her as much…

Mission: Not All Orders Are Easy
Posted on Sun Jan 11th, 2026 @ 9:29pm by Lieutenant JG Kate Kono & Ensign Kevin Mitchell & Ensign Aidan "A.J." Reid
The enclosed intelligence ward glowed in muted cerulean light, the hum of active consoles vibrating through the bulkheads. Kate slumped in her chair, eyes half-lidded, as A.J. Reid—tall, lithe, perpetually restless—bounced a dense rubber training sphere off the armored walls. Each ricochet sent tiny reverberations through the table; Kevin Mitchell flinched every time the orb careened near his PaDD, his fingers tightening around its smooth surface.
“These Intelligence Performance Evaluations can kiss my tiny Asian ass!” Kate snapped, shoving her PaDD onto the lacquered tabletop. She pressed her palms into her temples, rubbing away a headache that felt like a…

Mission: Not All Orders Are Easy
Posted on Sun Jan 11th, 2026 @ 8:06pm by Captain Shran dh'Klar
The crew had enjoyed shore leave on Risa, but that was weeks ago now. They had spent the last few weeks on routine duty, supply runs, scientific missions, and patrolling the Neutral Zone. Always fun to wave the flag and remind the Romulans they were around, even if diplomatic relations with them were good.
The Washington had just left Station 314, mostly a simple sensor station near the Neutral Zone. They had left them supplies and rotated in a new person onto the station. They were travelling at low speeds, only warp 4 at the moment. Shran was on the…

Computer, start recording:-
I have now been on board for several days, still I have not seen nor reported to the Sinkahue or Grayson. My mind is much conflicted with these new orders from my High Command, just how they expect me to continue with my duties while remaining apart from all Federation personnel is something I at this time fail to see as possible.
It is almost as if they want this collaboration to collapse into failure, maybe the section of our Council which is pushing for us to end all contact with the Federation has finally turned the…

Captain's Log
After several weeks and a few interesting encounters, we have returned to Federation space. I managed to convince StarFleet to give us a few days at Risa. Of course, StarFleet didn't just grant us a simple leave. They tasked us with providing the normal maintenance work to the weather control grid on Risa, which my engineers are now working on. Lt O'Connor has voiced a complaint that StarFleet needs to base an engineering team here fulltime to better maintain the grid, which he indicates has been severely neglected.
The first round of transports down to the planet have…

Captain's Log
Supplemental
We have once again encountered the mythic Earth deities, this time the Celtic deities alone. We were studying a stellar core fragment when we discovered a planet in its path. As we approached the planet, we learned that it was inhabited, but more remarkably, the core fragment wasn't causing the planet any issues which was strange.
The planet was inhabited by humans. These humans were originally from Earth, Ireland specifically, and their ancestors had been brought to the planet by the Celtic gods roughly a millennia ago. Upon an away team beaming down which I joined, we…
