Welcome to the USS Washington-E!

Welcome to the USS Washington-E, a post-Dominion War sim. The year is 2386. The Dominion War has been over for several years, but its aftermath is still unfolding. The Federation and the Romulans are the only two major powers, and only the Federation is stable, to a point. The Klingon Empire is still rebuilding and addressing its many wounds from the war, Cardassia is in shambles and occupied, and the Romulans are in far worse shape because of their own misdeeds than they would have outsiders believe. The Federation is now the lone superpower in the Quadrant, a role it neither wants nor enjoys. Exploration has returned, but the dangers of space have never been more pronounced. Welcome to the USS Washington, where danger and adventure lurk around every corner.

» October Awards

Posted on Mon Nov 3rd, 2025 @ 4:25pm by Captain Shran dh'Klar in General News

Trick or treat! Well, that was a few days ago, but yes, October is over, so time to look at the month and discuss what we all did. Honestly, it was a solid month. The current mission has a fun and interesting main story, and the undercurrent subplot has been equally as interesting, as they seem to be naturally sewing themselves together. Nearly everyone had at least one post in October, and most had at least 5 posts. We were all working on group work it seems, so no solo posts to look at this month. Hopefully November will be…

August has come and gone, and it was a strange month. We had a good amount of posts, but it didn't seem like we did at times. It was somewhat of a lull month, and yet plenty of quality in the month. We saw a new player join us as another departed, and we completed one mission and started another. Below are the awards. I wish to congratulate the winners.

Mission: Wild Wild West
Posted on Thu Nov 6th, 2025 @ 10:07am by Captain Shran dh'Klar & Commander Samantha Howard & Lieutenant JG James Phoenix

With the alien vessel now safely back in space, Shran waited in the transporter room for Sam and others to beam back over and get a report. Inara had been beamed over to sickbay, as had several others, and Shran had been informed that they had had two casualties. The transporter activated and the pad lit up with a full group. As they materialized, Shran noted Sam, Phoenix, Ashlynn, and a trio of engineers carrying specimen cases. "What exactly have you brought back Sam?"

Ashlynn pulled up the star chart that she found in the crashed ship's computer on her…

Mission: Wild Wild West
Posted on Wed Nov 5th, 2025 @ 10:27pm by Lieutenant Commander Deanna Celes & Commander Jonathan Grayson & Lieutenant JG Kate Kono & Chief Petty Officer Aaron Geiger

The trial was interesting, though it was fairly quick. The D.A. Trotter called Jon and Deanna to the stand and had their testimony, gave a solid closing statement, and the jury offered a guilty verdict in less than five minutes, followed by Judge Haller sentencing Dewey Barton to death by hanging. Deanna found it all very interesting, even the death sentence, and she hoped that Aaron and Kate had learned things of interest the way that she and Jon had. Deanna and Jon had managed to find a quiet spot to contact the ship, get an update on things, and…

The morning came early and it looked to be a sunny day as the group got together for breakfast.

Jon looked over the menu, it was simple but filling before he addressed the others."Alright, Deanna and I are going to meet with the judge and see what we can learn about this place. Aaron, you and Kate take Wolfie with you and check out the train and the railyard. Hopefully between us we can start getting some answers. We'll meet back here for lunch."

Deanna looked around as they exited the building. It was a quiet morning, very little foot…

Mission: Wild Wild West

"What have you found?" Aidan questioned as he took a look at the console.

"A starchart" she began. "There's another set of coordinates in red on it, like it's been marked as danger or of interest. It could be the spatial anomaly."

"Download all of this data to your tricorder. We'll let you take a better look at it and reference things back on the ship as soon as the doc gives us the clearance" Aidan noted.

"Copy that" she said before downloading as much as she could.

Aidan walked over to a nearby console, "Look at this. Someone has…

Mission: Wild Wild West

Jon and Deanna entered the hotel. Deanna had been speaking about her desire to see what the food was like as they entered and she spotted Aaron and Kate sitting, apparently discussing something about the napkins. As they walked up to the table Deanna inquired, "What makes the napkins so interesting? I hope it isn't an indictment on the food."

"Quite right. So, what's the big deal with the napkin?" Jon asked curious to hear the answer.

Kate looked up at them and subtly motioned for them to sit down as she twirled the napkin in her fingers edge by…

Captain's Log
Supplemental

We have once again encountered the mythic Earth deities, this time the Celtic deities alone. We were studying a stellar core fragment when we discovered a planet in its path. As we approached the planet, we learned that it was inhabited, but more remarkably, the core fragment wasn't causing the planet any issues which was strange.

The planet was inhabited by humans. These humans were originally from Earth, Ireland specifically, and their ancestors had been brought to the planet by the Celtic gods roughly a millennia ago. Upon an away team beaming down which I joined, we…
