Not All Orders Are Easy

The Washington answers the distress call of a group of anthropologists who are watching a primitive civilization. Upon arrival they find that a disaster has befallen the planet, a plasma storm collided with the planet which caused massive atmospheric reactions and pulled several radioactive asteroids out of stable orbit that had crashed on the planet, irradiating much of the planet. A problem exists however, the anthropology team has broken regulations and integrated themselves into the society, keeping a small village safe from the impending planetary doom. They request that these people be resettled on a safe world to keep their civilization alive, putting the captain in the situation of letting them die, or breaking the Prime Directive.
